SE faculty members coming to Finland

Mariëlle Maaswinkel
Mariëlle has a background in clinical psychology. In addition, she is a Somatic Experiencing and NARM Practitioner, a senior assistant in SOMA Embodiment training, and has completed levels 1 and 2 of IFS therapy.
Mariëlle works with body-oriented psychotherapy for adults at her private practice in the Netherlands. Mariëlle spends part of the year in Sweden.
She has been an assistant in SE trainings since 2012 and is currently on the SE Faculty track, Mariëlle was a member of the board of the Somatic Experiencing organization in the Netherlands.
Mariëlle will be leading the upcoming SE Introduction Workshops (2025-2026).

Sean Frankino
Sean Frankino is a clinical social worker, educator and psychotherapist in private practice in New York City.
Sean spent the early part of his career providing psychotherapy at a community mental health clinic where he worked with the LGBTQIA+ community, persons living with HIV/AIDS, Spanish speaking immigrants, and the formerly incarcerated, to name a few. This work inspired him to seek a greater understanding of o trauma.
Sean integrates SE with EMDR, relational psychotherapy and touch work. In addition to teaching Somatic Experiencing, he is a trainer in Attachment Focused EMDR.
Sean is teaching the 2nd year of the first SE Professional Training cohort in Finland (2025). He will teach the 1st and 2nd years of the second cohort (2026-2027).

Lael Keen
Lael is an Advanced level Instructor of Somatic Experiencing®. She has been a Rolfer since 1984 and in addition to SE teaches Rolfing® and Rolf Movement® around the world.
Lael holds a 5th degree black belt in Ki-Aikido and has studied many different disciplines that focus on the body-mind connection.
She lives in the south of Brazil where she and her husband (also a SE teacher), own and operate a training center in the Atlantic Rain Forest.
Lael will teach the 3rd year of the SE Professional Training in Finland (2026).

Dominique Degranges
Dominique is a body-oriented psychotherapist, counselor and educator.
He began his practice in art therapy and counseling in 1981. From 1984 onwards he studied process-oriented psychotherapy with Arnold Mindell, focusing with Eugene Gendlin, polarity therapy, and craniosacral therapy with Franklin Sills.
Since 1994, Dominique has maintained a private practice in Zurich and has been teaching craniosacral therapy and pre- and perinatal psychology across Europe and USA. He specializes in birth process work.
Dominique began the Somatic Experiencing® training with Peter Levine in Switzerland in 2000. In 2012 he became part of the international SE Faculty.
Dominique will be the 3rd year trainer for the Finland's second SE training cohort (2028).

Doris Rothbauer
Doris is a German licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with clients in Munich.
She delivers SE trainings around the Europe. Doris is a highly regarded trainer who emphasizes the interaction of attachment/developmental traumas and shock trauma.
Doris was teaching the 1st year of the SE Professional Training in Finland (2024).
