Fees, Payment options and Cancellation policy


TUITION FEES

The training consists of three training years: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Tuition fees are paid annually. 

The tuition fee for each year includes:

  • Two 6-day modules of presential training with a faculty member approved by Somatic Experiencing International.
  • An assistant team to support your learning during presential training days especially during small group practice. We aim for a high ratio of assistants, typically it is 1 assistants to 4 participants.
  • The official SE study manual ("SE manual") approved by Somatic Experiencing International
  • Slides and eventual other study material provided by the trainer  

The current cost per year is 3000€ (including 24% VAT), which includes a registration fee (600€, incl. 24% VAT) that is paid upon application. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND OPTIONS

The registration fee of 600€ is payable together with the training application. Your application will only be processed after the registration fee has been paid. If your application is not accepted, we will refund the registration fee in full.

You can pay the rest of the tuition fee: 

  • in one instalment by early March 2024 (exact date will be communicated as part of the application process), or
  • in two equal instalments by early March and 4 August 2024.


CANCELLATION POLICY

If the participant cancels their participation no later than 90 days before the start date of the first module, the full amount will be refunded (except for administrative costs). 

If the participant cancels no later than 60 days before the start date of the first module, 50% of the amount paid will be returned (except administrative costs). After this date, no refunds will be made, unless there is a force majeure (accident or sudden illness) confirmed by a medical certificate. 

In all cases of participant cancellation, the organizer will retain €100 as administrative costs. 

If the training has to be canceled by the organizer, you will be notified as soon as possible, and the amount paid will be refunded in full. However, the organizer is not responsible for any expenses that may have been caused by cancellations of transportation, hotels, etc. Your travel insurance may cover such expenses.
